Our Workshops

SRA conducts workshops for beginners to give them a head-start in the field of robotics. These workshops are conducted over a weekend and aim at giving the participants some basic knowledge about using electronics and embedded coding to develop their own projects!!
SRA majorly conducts 3 workshops:


SRA conducts a 2 day autonomous line following bot workshop every year for 1st year students.

The Workshop aims an creating an interest amongst beginners about Robotics, by giving them some basic knowledge of electronics, mech as well as coding.

The workshop covers the following topics:

  • Basics of electronics
  • Embedded systems and their design
  • Micro-controllers and working in detail.
  • Introduction to AVR and understanding our development board
  • Sensors (line following)
  • Mechanical chassis design
  • Basics of coding
  • Core coding concepts (embedded C)
  • Complex algorithms.

The workshop is on wireless communication modules.

SRA conducts a workshop on IoT, the internet of things where students are taught about what IoT is and how they can make use of IoT for projects.
